IFA RESOURCE & LEARNING CENTRE |
IFA believes that the key to development is awareness and knowledge. The focus of the Resource & Learning centre is to provide opportunities for cross generational and cross cultural learning about issues, cultural beliefs and practices, customary laws, skills, traditions, knowledge and wisdom of the indigenous peoples. The learning is done at several levels.
- IFA provides a forum for national and international level scholars to meet, interact and share experiences. Meetings and interaction programs can also be organized to research and share information on indigenous issues, knowledge and wisdom with specific audience groups.
- An internship program for enables Students or filmmakers from other countries to work with IFA on indigenous issues
- Nepali interns work on a voluntary basis with IFA in exchange for developing their research, general and event management skills.
- Filmmakers update their general knowledge and technical skills through interactions and dialogue with experts at regular interaction programs.
- Filmmakers have access to data and information in the Archive.
