IFA SYNERGY NETWORK
 
The IFA Synergy Network has been established to form a resource pool of information that is generated from the roots of indigenous communities in Nepal.
 
IFA realizes that it is important to have informative, well researched and technically well made films to develop the indigenous film archive. IFA also understands the vast scope of topics and themes that still need to be explored, researched, documented, shared and promoted even within the communities where these practices are slowly dying due to the influx of thoughts and trends foreign to their communities.
 
IFA in partnership with focal points based in Butwal, Chitwan, Dang, Dharan and Pokhara move from village to village showing films to generate interest in films as a medium of effective communication. This encourages communities to watch films about other indigenous communities to learn and understand commonalities and unique perspectives of indigenous issues.
 
Communities are inspired to speak about their own issues and concerns and identify and promote strengths. The next step is sharing their wisdom with the rest of the world.
