Films having indigenous subject matter are the most of the time swept under the table where no one is going to see it. Moreover, Indigenous film festivals promote such films and gives a platform for filmmakers. And festivals have the potential to change people’s idea on what they can do for themselves and give people to think a bit further ahead which are its important aspects.
