NIIFF-2007, Dharan and Butwal Extension Programme

With an objective of creating synergy among all the indigenous people including indigenous film makers to enable them to express their voice for the cultural identity, rights and opportunities through the indigenous films, IFA decided to extend its NIIFF beyond Kathmandu valley. IFA held the first installment of the NIIFF Extension Programme by screening the ten selected national and international indigenous films with a resounding success coupled with wide media coverage in Dharan on December 7 and December 8 and in Butwal on December 14 and December 15, 2007.

Treasures of the Indigenous People- A Film Workshop

IFA is dedicated to enhance the quality of the Nepali indigenous films. In order to broaden the skill, knowledge and perception of the indigenous filmmakers by exposing them to the international film scenario, cinematography, script writing, acting and direction and film appreciation, IFA conducted a film workshop from December 19 to December 24, 2007.
